Erin and Brett had the most beautiful winter day when they exchanged their vows in a private wedding ceremony. They arranged all the details of their special day with the help of Grenzenlos Events & Lifestyle. Destination wedding photographer Claire Morgan captured their day beautifully.

An Intimate Affair…
A Christmas elopement gave Erin and Brett the ideal opportunity to combine their wedding with a European honeymoon. With their love of the snow, travel and great food, their search for the ideal winter wedding destination was narrowed down to Austria, with the charming city of Salzburg being the location that the couple finally settled on. The team at Grenzenlos Events and Lifestyle organised a beautiful and intimate day, full of love, laughter and style.
Something Borrowed…
As it was just the two of them, Erin used the novel idea of having family and friends write messages of good luck on the bottom of her wedding shoes, I just love this! Erin used her mother’s bag & grandmother’s handkerchief, which she wrapped around her flowers, such a lovely gesture and a great way to incorporate “something borrowed” into her wedding attire. I love the photo, capturing the moment when Erin discovers that a one cent coin has been stuck to the bottom of her shoe for good luck, by Melanie, her wedding planner.
Two Ceremonies…
Erin and Brett’s civil wedding ceremony took place at the stunning Mirabell Palace, which is considered by many to be one of the “most beautiful wedding halls in the world.” It was originally built in 1606 and redesigned in the baroque style the following century. The Palace Gardens which are today a horticultural masterpiece and a favourite with visitors are famed for several scenes from “the Sound of Music.” The couple then chose to have a religious ceremony in the afternoon, which was held in the Chapel at Schloss Hellbrunn.
A Stoll Through Salzburg…
The time in between the ceremonies was used to take some absolutely stunning wedding photos around Salzburg and in the gardens of both Mirabell Palace and Schloss Helbrunn, which was shot by Claire Morgan.
