Forest Micro Wedding in Denmark

Denmark is full of forests and couples from all over like to have their wedding or elopement here. Minh and Conor booked the Forest Wedding Package offered by Nordic Wedding Adventures, planners specialising in elopements and micro weddings in Denmark. For this special occasion, Minh and Conor added some extras such as a small banquet with food.

For their wedding theme, Minh wanted white roses, coupled with a romantic headpiece and wore a light, long-sleeve wedding dress and a beautiful veil. The groom was dapper in a black tux and a bow-tie.

For the outdoor wedding decoration, there were a few bouquets with a dash of color to pop out against the natural forest earth tones. Even though it was summer, there was a fire crackling together with the music in the background. Several tree stumps formed the area of where the wedding ceremony would be and on top of these the wedding decorations were propped, giving a feeling of charm to the setup. Forest weddings, and outdoor weddings in general, are special in this regard because you don’t have to spend a lot to decorate, you capture the powerful beauty of nature by having it as your wedding backdrop.

Behind the tree stumps, you can see two very large tree trunks. These are two trees that are over 600 years old! They are a part of the forest at the manor house and are named Albert and Alice! Surrounded by this simple and graceful setup, Minh and Conor were pronounced husband and wife.

Their families recorded the wedding and took photos along with the professional photographer. In some cases, where the bride and groom’s families cannot attend, the couple requests a live streaming to be set up!
